The Oldest Professional Football Club in Wales

Founded in 1864, Wrexham AFC is the oldest professional Football Club in Wales and the 3rd oldest in the world. Wrexham AFC was founded at a meeting at the Turf Hotel by members of the Wrexham Cricket Club looking for a sport to fill the winter months.
