Mark Connolly

Mark Connolly is raising £1000 to support the work of Wrexham Prostate Cancer Support Group and help raise awareness about prostate cancer.

My name is Mark Connolly and I work at Travis Perkins, Wrexham. Earlier this year I was diagnosed as having prostate cancer. Since becoming a member of the Wrexham Support Group I am anxious to champion their aims of heightening the awareness of the disease and the need for more men in the region to get tested by asking their GPs for a simple blood test. There were typically 500 men diagnosed in North Wales in 2024 with Prostate Cancer. Almost 200 of these were from the Wrexham Area.
